Game News “Hot Coffee” scandal A while back a download was circulating on the Internet that allowed Pc players of the popular Rock star games title, Grand Theft Auto San Andreas to play a realistic sex mini game that featured graphic nudity. Such content in a game usually would mean an immediate AO (Adults Only) E.S.R.B rating. After about a week of circulation in the underground web it finally surfaced on national news, senator Hilary Clinton was the among the first to personally condemn Rock Star video games and the video game business in general over this fiasco. As politicians made attacks on video games, Rock star denied all participation in the making of the pornographic minigame. Rock star blamed the game on a hacker/programmer that made the game. As the argument started to lean more to the sales of ‘M’ rated video games to those under the age of seven-teen bad news surfaced for rock star games. It had turned out that the game was actually in the original encoding of Grand Theft Auto San Andreas. As the minigame titled “Hot Coffee” and could be unlocked using the Action Replay Max on the PS2. This of course means a trouble for the game studio. Intresting news: This is a wee bit interesting. It appears that Jack Thompson accidently sent out a copy of an email intended for the attorney general of Minnesota to one of the people who emailed to berate him for his open letter to the ESA. In the letter he asks for a criminal investigation into Best Buy and Target in Hennepin County, Minnesota . He claims that the stores are illegally distributing sexual material to minors via the Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas game. He also claims in the letter that he worked with Sen. Hillary Clinton to prepare her for the press conference she held Thursday to call for the FTC investigation into Grand Theft Auto.
